１５章
2. 私にある、実を結ばないすべての枝を彼は取り除き、そして、実を結んでいるすべての枝を彼は刈り込みなさっている。それは、もっと豊かに実を結ぶようになるためだ。
3. 汝らは、すでに私が汝らに語ってきた言葉によって清い。
4. 私に留まっていなさい。そうすれば、私は汝らに留るであろう。枝は、ぶどう(の木に)留まっていなければ、それ自体では実を結ぶ事ができないように、汝らも私に留まっていなければ、実を結ぶ事はできない。
5. 私はぶどうの木で、汝らはその枝なのである。私に留まっていて、私がその人にいる人は、多くの実を結ぶ。私なしには、汝ら何もする事ができない。
6. もし誰かが私に留まっていないなら、その人は枝として投げ捨てられて枯れる。そして、人々（彼ら）は彼らを集めて火の中に投げ入れて、彼らは焼かれてしまう。
7. もし、汝らが私に留まり、また、私の言葉が汝らに留まっているなら、汝らは何でも望んでいるものを求めなさい。そうすれば、それは汝らのためになされる。
8. 汝らの多くの実を結ぶ事によって、私の父は栄光をお受けになっており、それによって、汝らは私の弟子となるであろう。
9. 私の父が私を愛されたように、私もまた汝を愛した。私の愛に留まっていなさい。
10. もし、汝らが私の命令を守っているなら、ちょうど、私が、私の父の命令を守って、彼の愛に留まっているのと同じように、汝らは私の愛に留まる。
11. これらの事を、私が汝らに語ったのは、私の喜びが汝らに留まり、そして汝らの喜びが満たされるためだ。
12. これが私の命令だ。汝らは、私が汝らを愛したように、互いに愛し合いなさい。
13. 自分の友のために、自分の命を捨てる、これよりも大いなる愛を持っている人は誰もいない。
14. 汝らは、私が汝らに命じていることをどんな事であっても全て行うならば、汝は私の友人である。
15. もはや、私は汝らを僕たちとは呼ぶまい。僕は自分の(彼の)主人がしていることを知らないからだ。しかし、私は汝らを友人と呼んだ。なぜなら、私は私の父から聞いた事を、全て汝らに知らせたからだ。
16. 汝らが私を選んだのではなく、私が汝らが選んのである。そして、汝らが行って、実を結ぶようにと置いた[1]。それは、汝らの実が残るためであり、汝らが私の名によって、私の父に願うことを彼がしてくださるためだ。
17. これらのことを私が汝らに命じているのは、汝らが互いに愛し合うためである。
18. もし、この世界が汝らを憎んでいるなら、汝らは、それが汝らを憎む前に、私を憎んだことを知っていなさい。
19. もし、汝らがこの世界の者であったなら、この世界は自分のものは愛したのだ。しかし、汝らはこの世界の者ではなく、私が汝らかをこの世界から選び出した者だ。だからこの世界は汝らを憎んでいる。
20. 私が話した『僕は自分の（彼の）主人より大きな者ではない』という、あの言葉を思い出しなさい。もし彼らが私を迫害したなら、彼らは汝らも迫害する。もし彼らが私の言葉を守ったなら、彼らは汝らの言葉も守るであろう。
21. しかし、これらの事を、すべて彼らは私の名のために汝らにするであろう。なぜなら、彼らは私を遣わされたお方を知らないからだ。
22. もし、私が彼らの所に来ないで、語っていないなら、彼らには何の罪も無かった。しかし、今や彼らは自分たちの（彼らの）罪について、何の言い逃れもできない。
23. 私を憎んでいる人は、私の父も憎んでいる。
24. もし、私が彼らの間で誰もしなかったわざをしていなかったら、彼らは何も罪が無かったであろう。しかし。今や彼らは見た。そして私と私の父とを憎んだのだ。
25. しかし、この事が起きたのは、彼らの法に書かれている『彼らは理由もなしに私を憎んだ』という言葉が実現するためだ。
26. しかし、私が父の所から遣わす慰め主がお出でになる時、父のもとから進んでこられる真理の聖霊は、（彼は）私について証しをなさる。
27. そして、汝らもまた証しをする。なぜなら、汝は私を見てきているからだ。
Joh 15:1 I am the True Vine, and My Father is the
Vinedresser.

15:2 Every branch in Me that does not
bear fruit, He takes away. And every one that bears fruit, He prunes it so that
it may bring forth more fruit.

15:3 Now you are clean through the Word
which I have spoken to you.
Joh
15:4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the
branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can
you unless you abide in Me.

15:5 I am the Vine, you are the
branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit;
for without Me you can do nothing.

15:6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he
is cast out as a branch and is withered. And they gather and cast them
into the fire, and they are burned.

15:7 If you abide in Me, and My Words
abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you.
Joh
15:8 In this My Father is glorified,
that you bear much fruit, so you shall be My disciples.
Joh
15:9 As the Father has loved Me, so I
have loved you; continue in My love.
Joh
15:10 If you keep My commandments, you
shall abide in My love, even as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide
in His love.
Joh
15:11 I have spoken these things to you
so that My joy might remain in you and your joy might be full.
Joh
15:12 This is My commandment, that you
love one another as I have loved you.
Joh
15:13 No one has greater love than this,
that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Joh
15:14 You are My friends if you do
whatever I command you.
Joh
15:15 No longer do I call you servants,
for the servant does not know what his master does. But I have called you
friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to
you.
Joh
15:16 You have not chosen Me, but I have
chosen you and ordained you that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that
your fruit should remain; that whatever you shall ask of the Father in My name,
He may give it to you.

15:17 These things I command you, that
you love one another.
Joh
15:18 If the world hates you, you know
that it hated Me before it hated you.
Joh
15:19 If you were of the world, the
world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, but I have
chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
Joh
15:20 Remember the word that I said to
you, The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted Me,
they will also persecute you. If they have kept My saying, they will also keep
yours.

15:21 But all these things they will do
to you for My name's sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.
Joh
15:22 If I had not come and spoken to
them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
Joh
15:23 He who hates Me hates My Father
also.
Joh
15:24 If I had not done among them the
works which no other did, they would not have had sin. But now they have both
seen and hated Me and My Father.
Joh
15:25 But that the Word might be
fulfilled that is written in their Law, "They hated Me without a cause."
Joh
15:26 And when the Comforter has come,
whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from
the Father, He shall testify of Me.

15:27 And you also shall bear witness,
because you have been with Me from the beginning.
