ヨハネによる福音書第12章（欽定訳）

１２章

1.　さて、パスカの六日前、イエスはベサニーにお出でになった。そこは死んでいたラザロを、彼が死からよみがえらせた所である。
2.　そこで彼らは彼に夕食を整えた。そして、マルサが給仕していたが、ラザロは彼と一緒に食事の席に着いていた。
3.　さて、マリヤは一ポンドの、非常に高価なカンショウ香油を持ってきて、イエスの両足に注ぎかけ、そして彼女の髪の毛で彼の足をぬぐった。そして、家はその香油の香ばしさでいっぱいになった。
4.　その時、彼の弟子の一人で、イエスを売り渡したシモンの息子、イスカリオテのユダが言った。
5.　「どうしてその香ばしい香油を３百デナリで売って貧しい人たちにあげなかったのか？」
6.　この事を彼が言ったのは、彼が貧しい人たちに心をかけていたのではなく、彼が盗人であり、また金入れを持っていたが、その中にあったものを常習的に盗んでいたからである。
7.　しかしイエスは仰せになった。「彼女をするままにしておきなさい。彼女はそれを私の葬りの日のためにとっておいたのだ。
8.　貧しい人たちは、いつも汝らと一緒にいる。しかし、私はいつも汝らと一緒にいるわけではない。」
9.　さて、非常に多くのユダヤ人たちが、彼がそこにいる事を知った。そして彼らはイエスのことばかりではなく、彼がその死からよみがえらせたラザロにも会おうとしてやって来た。
10.　しかし、祭司の長たちはラザロも一緒に殺そうと謀った。
11.　彼のゆえに、多くのユダヤ人たちが去って行き、そして、イエスを信じたからである。
12.　次の日、祭りに来ていた非常に多くの群集が、イエスがエルサレムにお出でになっている事を聞いて、
13.　シュロの枝々を取り、彼に会おうとして出てきた。また大声で叫んで言った、「ホサンナ！幸いなるかな！主の御名によって来る方よ。イスラエルの王よ！」
14.　その時、イエスは若いロバを見つけ、それにお乗りになった。それは、〔こう書いてあるとおりであった〕
15.　「恐れるな、シオンの娘よ。見よ！あなたの王がお出でになる。ロバの子に乗って。」
16.　彼の弟子たちは、これらのことを初めは理解しなかった。しかし、イエスが栄光をお受けになった時、彼らは、これらの事が彼について書かれていたのであり、彼らが彼にそれらのことをしたのである事を思い起した。
17.　そこで、彼がラザロを彼の墓から呼び、また彼を死からよみがえらせたのに居合わせた、その人々は（それを証しした。）
18.　このために、その人々は、彼にも会おうとした。なぜなら、彼らは彼がなさったこの徴のことを聞いたからである。
19.　ファリサイ派の人々はそれで互いに言い合った。「諸君は何もできていない。見よ。世を挙げて彼についていってしまった！」
20.　さて、祭りに礼拝をしに上っていた人々の中に、数人のギリシャ人がいた。
21.　その時、彼らはガリラヤのベスサイダ出身のフィリッポスの所に来て、彼に頼んで言った。「卿よ、私どもはイエスにお会いしたいのですが。」
22.　フィリッポスはアンドレのところに来て話し、次にアンドレとフィリッポスはイエスに話した。
23.　すると、イエスは彼らに答えて仰せになった。「人の子が栄光を受ける、その時が来た。
24.　アーメン、アーメン、私は汝らに言う。一粒の麦の種が地に落ち、そして死ななければ、それはそのままだ。しかし、もしそれが死んでいるならば、それは多くの実を産みだす。
25.　自分の命を愛している人は、それを失い、またこの世界で自分の命を憎んでいる人は、永遠の命へとそれを保つ。
26.　もし、誰かが私に仕えているなら、私についてきなさい。そして私がいる所に、私の僕もまたいるべきだ。もし誰かが私に仕えているなら、私の父は彼に栄誉をお授けになる。
27.　今や、私の魂は騒いでいる。私は何と言おうか？『おとうさま、私をこのときからお救いください』しかし、このために、私はこの時に至ったのだ。
28.　『おとうさま、あなたの御名を崇めます。』」その時、天から声があって仰せになった。「私は栄光を現わした。また、もう一度現わそう。」。
29.　そのため、側にいてそれを聞いた人々は、雷が鳴ったと言った。他の人々は、「天使の一人が彼に語りかけたのだ。」と言った。
30.　イエスは答えて仰せになった。「この御声は、私のためではなく、汝らのためにあったのだ。
31.　今はこの世界の裁きの時だ。今やこの世界の君[1]は追放される。
32.　また、もし私がこの地から上げられるなら、すべての人々を私のところに引き寄せよう。」
33.　この事を彼が仰せになって、どのような死で彼が死なれるのかをお示しになったのである。
34.　その人々は彼に答えた。「私たちは法からキリストは永遠に残られると聞いています。それなのに、あなたはどうして『人の子は上げられなければならない』と言われるのですか？人の子とは、誰のことなのですか？」
35.　その時、イエスは彼らに仰せになった。「もうしばらくの間、光は汝らと一緒にいる。汝らは光を持っている間に、闇が汝らを覆うことのないように歩きなさい。闇の中を歩いている人は、彼がどこに行こうとしているのかを知ってはいない。
36.　汝に光がある間に、光の子らとなるために、光を信じなさい。」イエスはこれらの事を語ると、発って彼らからご自分を隠された。
37.　しかし、彼が多くの徴を彼らの前でなさったのにもかかわらず、彼らはイエスを信じなかった。
38.　それは、預言者イザヤの言葉が実現するためであった。そこで彼はこう言っている。「主よ、私たちの知らせを誰が信じましたか？また、主の御手は、誰に現わされたのですか？」
39.　それで、彼らは信じなかった。イザヤはまたこうも言った。
40.　「彼は彼らの両目を見えなくし、彼らの心を頑なになさった。それは彼らがその両目で見る事がなく、彼らがその心で理解して悔い改める事がないため、そして私が彼らを癒す事がないためだ。」
41.　イザヤがこれらの事を言った時、彼は彼の栄光を見、そして彼について語ったのである。
42.　しかしながら、支配者たちの間でさえも、多くの人々が彼を信じた。しかし、彼らはファリサイ派の人々のゆえに、シナゴーグから追放されないようにと、（彼らは）彼を告白しなかった。
43.　彼らは天の神の栄誉よりも、人間の栄誉を愛していたからである。
44.　その時、イエスは大声で叫んで仰せになった。「私を信じている人は、私を信じているのではなく、私を遣わされたお方を信じているのである。
45.　また、私を見ている人は、私を遣わされたお方を見ている。
46.　私は光としてこの世界に来た。誰でも私を信じている人が、闇にとどまる事のないためだ。
47.　そして、もし、誰かが私の言葉を聞き、そして信じなくても、私は彼を裁かない。私はこの世界を裁くためではなく、この世界を救うために来たからだ。
48.　私を拒否し、また私の言葉を受け入れていない人は、彼を裁いているものがある。私が語ってきた言葉が終りの日に彼を裁く。
49.　なぜなら、私は私自身の権威で語ってきたのではない。私が語り、そして語ってきたことは、私を遣わされた私の父が、私にお授けになった戒めなのである。
50.　そして、私は彼の命令が永遠の命である事を知っている。私が語っている事はどんな事であっても、父が私にお語りになったとおりに語っているからだ。」

Joh 12:1  Then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was (who had died, whom He raised from the dead).
Joh 12:2  Then they made a supper there for Him. And Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those reclining with Him.
Joh 12:3  Then Mary took a pound of ointment of pure spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the odor of the ointment.
Joh 12:4  Then said one of His disciples (Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, who was to betray Him)
Joh 12:5  Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?
Joh 12:6  He said this, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief and held the moneybag and carried the things put in.
Joh 12:7  Then Jesus said, Let her alone. She has kept this for the day of My burial.
Joh 12:8  For you have the poor with you always; but you do not always have Me.
Joh 12:9  Then a great crowd of the Jews learned that He was there. And they did not come for Jesus' sake only, but also that they might see Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead.
Joh 12:10  But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus to death also,
Joh 12:11  because many of the Jews went away and believed on Jesus because of him.
Joh 12:12  On the next day, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, a great crowd who had come to the Feast
Joh 12:13  took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him. And they cried, Hosanna! "Blessed is the King of Israel who comes in the name of the Lord!"
Joh 12:14  And finding an ass colt, Jesus sat on it; as it is written,
Joh 12:15  "Fear not, daughter of Zion; behold, your King comes sitting on the foal of an ass."
Joh 12:16  But His disciples did not know these things at the first. But when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written of Him, and that they had done these things to Him.
Joh 12:17  Then the crowd witnessed, those who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead.
Joh 12:18  Because of this the crowd also met Him, because they heard that He had done this miracle.
Joh 12:19  Then the Pharisees said among themselves, Do you see how you gain nothing? Behold, the world has gone after Him.
Joh 12:20  And there were certain Greeks among those who came up to worship at the Feast.
Joh 12:21  Then these came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, Sir, we want to see Jesus.
Joh 12:22  Philip came and told Andrew. And again Andrew and Philip told Jesus.
Joh 12:23  And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified.
Joh 12:24  Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone; but if it dies, it brings forth much fruit.
Joh 12:25  He who loves his life shall lose it. And he who hates his life in this world shall keep it to life eternal.
Joh 12:26  If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there also My servant shall be. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.
Joh 12:27  And My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? Father, save Me from this hour? But for this cause I came to this hour.
Joh 12:28  Father, glorify Your name! Then there came a voice from the heaven saying, I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.
Joh 12:29  Then the crowd who stood by and heard said that it thundered. Others said, An angel spoke to Him.
Joh 12:30  Jesus answered and said, This voice did not come because of Me, but for your sakes.
Joh 12:31  Now is the judgment of this world. Now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
Joh 12:32  And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all to Myself.
Joh 12:33  But He said this, signifying what kind of death He was about to die.
Joh 12:34  The crowd answered Him, We have heard out of the Law that Christ lives forever. How do you say, The Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?
Joh 12:35  Then Jesus said to them, Yet a little while the Light is with you. Walk while you have the Light, lest darkness come upon you. For he who walks in darkness does not know where he goes.
Joh 12:36  While you have the Light, believe in the Light so that you may become sons of Light. Jesus spoke these things and departed and was hidden from them.
Joh 12:37  But though He had done so many miracles before them, yet they did not believe on Him,
Joh 12:38  so that the saying of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, "Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?"
Joh 12:39  Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again,
Joh 12:40  "He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, so that they should not see with their eyes nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them."
Joh 12:41  Isaiah said these things when he saw His glory and spoke of Him.
Joh 12:42  Still, however, even out of the rulers, many did believe on Him. But because of the Pharisees they did not confess, lest they should be put out of the synagogue;
Joh 12:43  for they loved the glory of men more than the glory of God.
Joh 12:44  But Jesus cried out and said, He who believes on Me does not believe on Me but on Him who sent Me.
Joh 12:45  And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me.
Joh 12:46  I have come as a Light into the world, so that whoever believes on Me should not remain in darkness.
Joh 12:47  And if any one hears My Words and does not believe, I do not judge him, for I do not come to judge the world, but to save the world.
Joh 12:48  He who rejects Me and does not receive My Words has one who judges him; the Word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
Joh 12:49  For I have not spoken of Myself, but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say, and what I should speak.
Joh 12:50  And I know that His command is life everlasting. Therefore whatever I speak, even as the Father said to Me, so I speak.

１３章

1.　ところで、パスカの祭りの前に、イエスは、彼がこの世界を去って父の所に行くべき彼の時が来ていることを悟られたので、この世界にいたご自分の人々を愛された。彼は彼らを最後まで愛された。
2.　そして、夕食が終わると、ディアボロスはすでにシモンの子、イスカリオテのユダの心に彼を裏切る心を置いていた。
3.　イエスは父が全てを彼の手にお授けになったこと、また、彼が天の神から来、また天の神のところに行くべき事をお悟りになったので、
4.　夕食から立ち上がり、そして彼の着物を脱いでタオルを取り、ご自分の腰につけられた。
5.　それから、彼はたらいに水を満たし、そして、弟子たちの足を洗い始められた。そして、それを彼が腰に巻いておられたタオルでお拭きになった。
6.　彼はシモン・ペテロの所に来られた。すると、ペテロは彼に言った。「主よ、あなたが私の足をお洗いになるのですか？」
7.　イエスは答えて彼に仰せになった。「私が汝にしている事は、今は理解できないが、後で悟るようになる。」
8.　ペテロは彼に言った。「あなたは、決して私の足などお洗いにならないで下さい！」イエスは彼にお答えになった。「もし、私が汝を洗わないなら、汝は私と何の関係もないであろう」
9.　シモン・ペテロは彼に言った。「主よ、私の両足だけではなく、私の両手も、私の頭も！」
10.　イエスは彼に仰せになった。「洗われている人[1]には、足だけを洗えば完全に清い。そして、汝らは清い。しかし、汝らは全部がというのではない。」
11.　というのは、彼は誰が彼を裏切るのかを知っておられた。それで彼は「汝ら全部が清いのではない」と仰せになったのである。
12.　そして、彼は彼らの足を洗うと、彼の着物を着、それからもう一度腰をかけ、彼らに仰せになったは、私がしてきたことを悟ったか？
13.　おまえたちが私を教師、又、主と呼んでいる、そしておまえたちが言うのはよい。なぜなら、私はそうなのだから。
14.　ところで、もし、主また、教師である私がおまえたちの足を洗ったなら、おまえたちもまた互いに足を洗いあうべきである。

30.　そのパンの一切れを受けると、彼はすぐに出て行った。夜であった。
31.　彼が出て行くと、イエスは仰せになった。「今、人の子は栄光を受けている。また天の神は彼にあって栄光をお受けになっている。
32.　もし、天の神が彼にあって栄光をお受けになっているなら、天の神は彼ご自身にあって、彼に栄光をお授けになる。また、彼にただちに栄光をお授けになる。
33.　小さな子供たちよ。私はもうしばらく汝らと一緒にいよう。そして、私がユダヤ人たちに『私が行く所に、あなたがたは来る事ができない』と言ったように、汝らにもそう言おう。
34.　私は、汝らに互いに愛し合うようにという、新しい掟[2]を与える。私が汝らをを愛していたように、汝らもまた互いに愛し合いなさい。
35.　もし、汝が互いに愛し合うならば、この事によって、全ての人が汝らが私の弟子である事を知るのだ。」
36.　シモン･ペテロが彼に言った。「主よ、あなたはどこに行こうとなさっているのですか？」イエスは彼にお答えになった。「私が行こうとしているところには、汝らは（私に）ついて来ることはできない。しかし、後になれば、私について来るであろう。」
37.　ペテロは彼に言った。「主よ、どうして私たちは、今はあなたについて行けないのですか？私は私の命をあなたのためには捨てます。」
38.　イエスは彼にお答えになった。「おまえはおまえの命を私のために捨てると言うのか？アーメン、アーメン、私はおまえに言う。おんどりが鳴かない前に、汝は私を三回否定する。」

Joh 13:1  And before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come when He should depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own in the world, He loved them to the end.
Joh 13:2  And when supper had ended, the Devil now having put into the heart of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon to betray Him,
Joh 13:3  Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and went to God,
Joh 13:4  He rose up from supper and laid aside His garments. And He took a towel and girded Himself.
Joh 13:5  After that He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.
Joh 13:6  Then He came to Simon Peter. And Peter said to Him, Lord, do You wash my feet?
Joh 13:7  Jesus answered and said to him, You do not know what I do now, but you shall know hereafter.
Joh 13:8  Peter said to Him, You shall never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, Unless I wash you, you have no part with Me.
Joh 13:9  Simon Peter said to Him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and head.
Joh 13:10  Jesus said to him, He who is bathed has no need except to wash his feet, but is clean every whit. And you are clean, but not all.
Joh 13:11  For He knew who would betray Him. Therefore He said, You are not all clean.
Joh 13:12  So after He had washed their feet and had taken His garments and had reclined again, He said to them, Do you know what I have done to you?
Joh 13:13  You call Me the Teacher, and Lord, and you say well, for I AM.
Joh 13:14  If then I, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
Joh 13:15  For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.
Joh 13:16  Truly, truly, I say to you, A servant is not greater than his master, neither is he who is sent greater than he who sent him.
Joh 13:17  If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.
Joh 13:18  I do not speak of you all; I know whom I have chosen; but that the Scripture might be fulfilled, "He who eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me."
Joh 13:19  From now I tell you before it comes, so that when it happens you may believe that I AM.
Joh 13:20  Truly, truly, I say to you, He who receives whomever I send receives Me. And he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.
Joh 13:21  When Jesus had said this, He was troubled in spirit, and testified and said, Truly, truly, I say to you that one of you shall betray Me.
Joh 13:22  Then the disciples looked upon one another, wondering of whom He spoke.
Joh 13:23  But there was one of His disciples leaning upon Jesus' bosom, the one whom Jesus loved.
Joh 13:24  Simon Peter therefore signaled to him to ask whom it might be of whom He spoke.
Joh 13:25  And lying on Jesus' breast, he said to him, Lord, who is it?
Joh 13:26  Jesus answered, It is he to whom I shall give the morsel when I have dipped it. And dipping the morsel, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
Joh 13:27  And after the morsel, then Satan entered into him. Then Jesus said to him, What you do, do quickly.
Joh 13:28  But no one reclining knew for what reason He spoke this to him.
Joh 13:29  For some thought, because Judas had the moneybag, that Jesus had said to him, Buy what we have need of for the feast; or that he should give something to the poor.
Joh 13:30  He then, having received the morsel, went out immediately. And it was night.
Joh 13:31  Then when he had left, Jesus said, Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in him.
Joh 13:32  If God is glorified in Him, God shall also glorify Him in Himself, and shall immediately glorify Him.
Joh 13:33  Little children, I am with you yet a little while. You shall seek Me; and as I said to the Jews, Where I go, you cannot come, so I now say to you.
Joh 13:34  I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. As I have loved you, you should also love one another.
Joh 13:35  By this all shall know that you are My disciples, if you have love toward one another.
Joh 13:36  Simon Peter said to Him, Lord, where do You go? Jesus answered him, Where I go you cannot now follow Me, but you shall follow Me afterward.
Joh 13:37  Peter said to Him, Lord, why cannot I follow You now? I will lay down my life for Your sake.
Joh 13:38  Jesus answered him, Will you lay down your life for My sake? Truly, truly, I say to you, The cock shall not crow until you have denied Me three times.

１４章

1.　「汝らは、心を悩ますな。天の神を信じ、また、私を信じていなさい。
2.　私の父の家には、住まいがたくさんある。もし、そうではないなら、私は汝は汝らに言っておいた。私は汝らのために、場所を準備しに行くのだ。
3.　そして、私が行って、汝らのための場所の準備ができたら、私はまた来よう。そして汝らを私自身の所に迎えよう。それは、私がいるところに、汝らもいるようになるためである。

4.　また、私が行く所を汝らは知っている。またその道も、汝らは知っている。」
5.　トーマスは彼に言った。「主よ、私たちはあなたがどこにお出でになるのか知りません。また、わたしたちはどうやってその道を知ることができるのですか？」
6.　イエスは彼に仰せになった。「私が道であり、真理であり、そして命なのだ。誰も私を通らないで父のもとに来ることはない。
7.　もし、汝らが私を知っていたなら、汝らは私の父も知っていたのだ。そして、今からは、汝ら　は彼を知っており、また彼を見ている。」
8.　ピリポは彼に言った。「主よ、私たちに父をお示しください。そうすれば、私たちは満ち足ります。」
9.　イエスは彼に仰せになった。「私が汝らとこんなにも長い間一緒にいて、それでも汝は私を知らないのか、ピリポ？私を見た者は、父を見たのだ。どうして汝は『私たちに父を示してください』というのか？
10.　汝は私が父にいること、そして、父が私におられることを信じていないのか？私が汝らに語っている言葉は、私自身の権威によって語っているのではない。私のうちにおられる、父の働きなのだ。
11.　私が父のうちにいることを信じ、父が私のうちにおられることを信じなさい。そうでなければ、この業そのものによって信じていなさい。

Joh 14:13  And whatever you may ask in My name, that I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Joh 14:15  If you love Me, keep My commandments.
Joh 14:16  And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, so that He may be with you forever,
Joh 14:17  the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see Him nor know Him. But you know Him, for He dwells with you and shall be in you.
Joh 14:18  I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you.
Joh 14:19  Yet a little while and the world does not see Me any more. But you see Me. Because I live, you shall live also.
Joh 14:20  At that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.

Joh 14:23  Jesus answered and said to him, If a man loves Me, he will keep My Word. And My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.
Joh 14:24  He who does not love Me does not keep My Words, and the Word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father's who sent Me.
Joh 14:25  I have spoken these things to you, being present with you.
Joh 14:26  But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I have said to you.
Joh 14:27  Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Joh 14:28  You have heard how I said to you, I go away and I am coming to you again. If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, I go to the Father, for My Father is greater than I.
Joh 14:29  And now I have told you before it happens, so that when it happens you might believe.
Joh 14:30  I shall no longer speak many things with you, for the ruler of this world comes, and he has nothing in Me.
Joh 14:31  But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father has given Me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go away from here.

Joh 15:1  I am the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser.
Joh 15:2  Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away. And every one that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bring forth more fruit.
Joh 15:3  Now you are clean through the Word which I have spoken to you.
Joh 15:4  Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.
Joh 15:5  I am the Vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
Joh 15:6  If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered. And they gather and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
Joh 15:7  If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you.
Joh 15:8  In this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, so you shall be My disciples.
Joh 15:9  As the Father has loved Me, so I have loved you; continue in My love.
Joh 15:10  If you keep My commandments, you shall abide in My love, even as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.
Joh 15:11  I have spoken these things to you so that My joy might remain in you and your joy might be full.
Joh 15:12  This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
Joh 15:13  No one has greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Joh 15:14  You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
Joh 15:15  No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master does. But I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.
Joh 15:16  You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it to you.
Joh 15:17  These things I command you, that you love one another.
Joh 15:18  If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
Joh 15:19  If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
Joh 15:20  Remember the word that I said to you, The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they have kept My saying, they will also keep yours.
Joh 15:21  But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.
Joh 15:22  If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
Joh 15:23  He who hates Me hates My Father also.
Joh 15:24  If I had not done among them the works which no other did, they would not have had sin. But now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father.
Joh 15:25  But that the Word might be fulfilled that is written in their Law, "They hated Me without a cause."
Joh 15:26  And when the Comforter has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He shall testify of Me.

Joh 16:1  I have spoken these things to you so that you should not be offended.
Joh 16:2  They shall put you out of the synagogue. But an hour is coming that everyone who kills you will think that he bears God service.
Joh 16:3  And they will do these things to you because they have not known the Father nor Me.
Joh 16:4  But I have told you these things so that when the hour shall come you may remember that I told you of them. And I did not say these things to you at the beginning because I was with you.
Joh 16:5  But now I go to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, Where do You go?
Joh 16:6  But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.
Joh 16:7  But I tell you the truth, it is expedient for you that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you. But if I depart, I will send Him to you.
Joh 16:8  And when that One comes, He will convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment.
Joh 16:9  Concerning sin, because they do not believe on Me;
Joh 16:10  concerning righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;
Joh 16:11  concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.
Joh 16:12  I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
Joh 16:13  However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth. For He shall not speak of Himself, but whatever He hears, He shall speak. And He will announce to you things to come.
Joh 16:14  He will glorify Me, for He will receive of Mine and will announce it to you.
Joh 16:15  All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and will announce it to you.
Joh 16:16  A little while and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go to the Father.
Joh 16:17  Then His disciples said to one another, What is this that He says to us, A little while and you will not see Me, and again a little and you will see Me? And, Because I go to the Father?
Joh 16:18  Therefore they said, What is this that He says, A little while? We do not know what He is saying.
Joh 16:19  Then Jesus knew that they desired to ask Him, and said to them, Do you seek answers with one another concerning this, because I said, A little while and you shall not see Me; and again a little while, and you shall see Me?
Joh 16:20  Truly, truly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. And you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
Joh 16:21  The woman has grief when she bears, because her hour has come. But when she brings forth the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, because of the joy that a man is born into the world.
Joh 16:22  And therefore you now have sorrow. But I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.
Joh 16:23  And in that day you shall ask Me nothing. Truly, truly, I say to you, Whatever you shall ask the Father in My name, He will give you.
Joh 16:24  Before now you have asked nothing in My name; ask and you shall receive, that your joy may be full.
Joh 16:25  I have spoken these things to you in parables, but the time is coming when I shall no more speak to you in parables, but I will show you plainly of the Father.
Joh 16:26  At that day you will ask in My name; and I do not say to you that I will pray to the Father for you,
Joh 16:27  for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came out from God.
Joh 16:28  I came forth from the Father, and have come into the world. Again I leave the world and go to the Father.
Joh 16:29  The disciples said to Him, Lo, now You speak plainly and speak no parable.
Joh 16:30  Now we know that You know all things and do not need that anyone should ask You. By this we believe that You have come forth from God.
Joh 16:31  Jesus answered them, Do you now believe?
Joh 16:32  Behold, the hour comes, yea, has now come, that you will be scattered, each man to his own things, and you will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.
Joh 16:33  I have spoken these things to you so that you might have peace in Me. In the world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.

12.　私がこの世界で彼らと一緒にいた間、私は彼らをあなたの御名によって守ってきました。あなたが私にお授けになった人々を、私は守ってきました。そして、滅びの子を除いては、彼らのうちの一人も、失っていません。それは、御言葉が成就するためです。
13.　しかし、今、私はあなたの所に参ります。そして、私がこの世界で語っている事は、彼らが自分達のうちに、私の喜びで満たされるためです。
14.　私は、彼らにあなたの御言葉を与えました。そして、この世界は、私がこの世界の者ではないように、彼らもこの世界の者ではありません。
15.　私があなたに祈っておりますのは、あなたが彼らをこの世界からお取りになることではなく、あなたが彼らを、あの邪悪な者から守ってくださる事です。

17.　彼らをあなたの真理によって聖別してください。あなたの言葉は真理なのです。

Joh 17:1  Jesus spoke these words and lifted up His eyes to Heaven and said, Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son so that Your Son also may glorify You,
Joh 17:2  even as You have given Him authority over all flesh so that He should give eternal life to all You have given Him.
Joh 17:3  And this is life eternal, that they might know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
Joh 17:4  I have glorified You upon the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.
Joh 17:5  And now Father, glorify Me with Yourself with the glory which I had with You before the world was.
Joh 17:6  I have revealed Your name to the men whom You gave to Me out of the world. They were Yours, and You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.
Joh 17:7  Now they have known that all things, whatever You have given Me, are from You.
Joh 17:8  For I have given to them the Words which You gave Me, and they have received them and have known surely that I came out from You. And they have believed that You sent Me.
Joh 17:9  I pray for them. I do not pray for the world, but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.
Joh 17:10  And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I am glorified in them.
Joh 17:11  And now I am in the world no longer, but these are in the world, and I come to You, Holy Father. Keep them in Your name, those whom You have given Me, so that they may be one as We are.
Joh 17:12  While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those that You have given Me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
Joh 17:13  And now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world that they might have My joy fulfilled in them.
Joh 17:14  I have given them Your Word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Joh 17:15  I do not pray for You to take them out of the world, but for You to keep them from the evil.
Joh 17:16  They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Joh 17:17  Sanctify them through Your truth. Your Word is truth.
Joh 17:18  As You have sent Me into the world, even so I have sent them into the world.
Joh 17:19  And I sanctify Myself for their sakes, so that they also might be sanctified in truth.
Joh 17:20  And I do not pray for these alone, but for those also who shall believe on Me through their word,
Joh 17:21  that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe that You have sent Me.
Joh 17:22  And I have given them the glory which You have given Me, that they may be one, even as We are one,
Joh 17:23  I in them, and You in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that You have sent Me and have loved them as You have loved Me.
Joh 17:24  Father, I desire that those whom You have given Me, that they may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me, for You have loved Me before the foundation of the world.
Joh 17:25  O righteous Father, indeed the world has not known You; but I have known You, and these have known that You have sent me.
Joh 17:26  And I made known to them Your name, and will make it known, so that the love with which You have loved Me may be in them, and I in them.

１８章

31.　そこで、ピラトは彼らに言った。「お前たちが彼を連れて行き、お前たちの法[2]に従って裁け。」それで、ユダヤ人たちは彼に言った。「誰であっても私たちが殺すことは法に反しています。」
32.　そのようにユダヤ人たちが言ったのは、彼が語っていた事、〔すなわち〕彼がどんな死によって死なれるかをお示しになった事が成就するためであった。
33.　その時、ピラトはプラエトリウムに再び入り、イエスを呼んで彼に言った。「お前はこのユダヤの王なのか？」
34.　イエスは彼にお答えになった。「汝はこのことについて、自分から語っているのか、または他の人が私について汝に教えたのか？」
35.　ピラトは答えた。「私はユダヤ人か？お前の国とあの祭司の長たちがお前を私に引き渡したのだ。お前は何をしたのか？」
36.　イエスはお答えになった。「私の王国は、この世界のものではない。もし私の王国がこの世界のものであったなら、私の僕たちは戦って、私があのユダヤ人たちに引き渡されないようにしたであろう。しかし、今は、私の王国はここのものではない。」
37.　それでピラトは彼に言った。「それで、お前は王なのか？」イエスはお答えになった。「あなたが言っている事は正しい。私は王である。なぜなら、そのために私は生まれてきたのであり、またこのために私はこの世界に来たのである。それは、真理を証しするためだ。真理に属する人は、皆私の声を聞いている。」
38.　ピラトは彼に言った。「真理とは何なのか？」そして、彼がこのことを言うと、彼はまたユダヤ人たちの所に出て行った。そして彼らに言った。「私は、彼には落ち度が全くないことがわかった。
39.　さて、諸君のためにこのパスカに誰かを釈放する事が慣例となっている。それで、諸君は私にこのユダヤ人の王を釈放する事を求めているのか？」

Joh 18:1  Having spoken these words, Jesus went out with His disciples over the winter stream Kidron, where there was a garden. He and His disciples entered into it.
Joh 18:2  And Judas who betrayed Him also knew the place. For Jesus oftentimes went there with His disciples.
Joh 18:3  Then Judas, having received a band and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, came there with lanterns and torches and weapons.
Joh 18:4  Then Jesus, knowing all things that were coming upon Him, went out and said to them, Whom do you seek?
Joh 18:5  They answered Him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus said to them, I AM! And Judas who betrayed Him also stood with them.
Joh 18:6  Then as soon as He had said to them, I AM, they went backward and fell to the ground.
Joh 18:7  Then He asked them again, Whom do you seek? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.
Joh 18:8  Jesus answered, I have told you that I AM. Therefore if you seek Me, let these go away;
Joh 18:9  (that the word might be fulfilled which He spoke, "Of those whom You have given Me, I have lost not one of them").
Joh 18:10  Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest's servant and cut off his right ear. And the servant's name was Malchus.
Joh 18:11  Then Jesus said to Peter, Put up your sword into the sheath. The cup which My Father has given Me, shall I not drink it?
Joh 18:12  Then the band, and the chiliarch, and under-officers of the Jews together seized Jesus and bound Him.
Joh 18:13  And they led Him away to Annas first, for he was father-in-law to Caiaphas, who was the high priest that year.
Joh 18:14  And Caiaphas was he who gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.
Joh 18:15  And Simon Peter and another disciple followed Jesus. That disciple was known to the high priest, and he went in with Jesus into the court of the high priest.
Joh 18:16  But Peter stood at the door outside. Then the other disciple went out, the one who was known to the high priest, and spoke to her who kept the door and brought Peter in.
Joh 18:17  Then the girl who kept the door said to Peter, Are you not also one of this man's disciples? He said, I am not.
Joh 18:18  And the servants and officers who had made a fire of coals stood there, for it was cold. And they warmed themselves. And Peter stood with them and warmed himself.
Joh 18:19  Then the high priest asked Jesus of His disciples and of His teaching.
Joh 18:20  Jesus answered him, I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in the synagogue and in the temple, where the Jews always resort, and I have said nothing in secret.
Joh 18:21  Why do you ask Me? Ask those who heard me what I have said to them. Behold, they know what I said.
Joh 18:22  And when He had spoken this way, one of the officers who stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Do you answer the high priest so?
Joh 18:23  Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil; but if well, why do you strike Me?
Joh 18:24  Then Annas had sent Him bound to Caiaphas the high priest.
Joh 18:25  And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. Then they said to him, Are you not also one of his disciples? He denied and said, I am not.
Joh 18:26  One of the servants of the high priest, being kinsman to him whose ear Peter cut off, said, Did I not see you in the garden with him?
Joh 18:27  Peter then denied again. And immediately a cock crowed.
Joh 18:28  Then they led Jesus from Caiaphas into the praetorium. And it was early. And they did not go into the praetorium, that they should not be defiled, and that they might eat the Passover.
Joh 18:29  Then Pilate went out to them and said, What charge do you bring against this man?
Joh 18:30  They answered and said to him, If he were not an evildoer, then we would not have delivered him up to you.
Joh 18:31  Then Pilate said to them, You take him and judge him according to your Law. Then the Jews said to him, It is not lawful for us to put anyone to death
Joh 18:32  (that the word of Jesus might be fulfilled, which He spoke signifying what death He was about to die).
Joh 18:33  Then Pilate entered into the praetorium again and called Jesus and said to him, Are you the king of the Jews?
Joh 18:34  Jesus answered him, Do you say this thing of yourself, or did others say it to you about Me?
Joh 18:35  Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered you to me. What have you done?
Joh 18:36  Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would fight so that I might not be delivered to the Jews. But now My kingdom is not from here.
Joh 18:37  Pilate then said to Him, Are you a king then? Jesus answered, You say it that I am a king. To this end I was born, and for this cause I came into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.
Joh 18:38  Pilate said to Him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews and said to them, I find no fault in him.
Joh 18:39  But you have a custom that I should release one to you at the Passover. Then do you desire that I release to you the king of the Jews?
Joh 18:40  Then they all cried again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas! But Barabbas was a robber.
